Flame & Flower is our candle-of-the-month subscription service. Every month you will receive a candle and affirmations or a mini ritual to go along with it. You will also gain access to a magical community of candle lovers just like you, as well as a course on how to do candle rituals.

Our candles are made with 100% soy wax and they feature large wood wicks that provide a soothing crackle as they burn. We fragrance our candles exclusively with essential oils for a nontoxic burning experience that won't harm you or your loved ones. Because we use essential oils, you are not as likely to experience headaches while burning Jen & Tonic candles. And the wood wicks won't leave a sooty trail on your walls or ceiling. Because of the quality materials we use, our candles also last longer - over 40 hours for a 7-ounce candle.

How long am I committed to this membership?

Why does Flame & Flower cost more than just buying a single candle?
There are several reasons that the subscription costs more. For starters, shipping is included in the subscription price. In addition, you also get access to a course and a community created just for you.
What if I am devout in my religion, is this right for me?
Flame & Flower is not a religious group. Most religious practices include candles as a sacred tool, though!
What do I actually get each month with my subscription?
I am so glad you asked! Every month, you will receive the candle for that month. With your candle, you will also receive a mini ritual to go along with it. We even include the cost of shipping in your subscription. Additionally, you will receive instant access to the Flame & Flower community and the Candle Magic 101 course. And you can join us for monthly rituals using your current candle.
How will this actually work?
When you subscribe, you will get access to the Flame & Flower community and Candle Magic 101 course. Check your inbox - including your spam folder - for an email from us with the links to access each. Then, I will ship out your first candle for the current month. Then, in subsequent months, your new candle will ship out in the first week of the month so that you can burn it all month long.
What if I have questions or want feedback on my rituals?
That is the perfect thing to post in the Flame & Flower community! There is no one "right way" to achieve spiritual goals, and every person will have a different means for accomplishing the same desired outcome.
Can I just buy a candle without the subscription?
Absolutely! Just select a candle and we will ship it to you. You won't receive a candle next month, and you won't have access to the Flame & Flower community or Flame & Flower: Candle Magic 101.
What if I have additional questions before I join?

What kinds of rituals will we do?
Each month we will meet virtually and perform a ritual together. We will do a blend of seasonal rituals, at the solstices and equinoxes, and also some other rituals to support your intentions.

Why should I buy candles from Jen?
Hi, I am Jennie, and I started making candles in the 1990s. because that is my favorite form of magic. Along the way, I developed sensitivities to artificial fragrances and I frequently get headaches when walking near a candle store or even the candle and laundry aisles at my grocery store. I learned that many commercially produced candles cause irritation and long-term effects because of the inferior materials used to make candles. Artificial fragrance causes me to break out in hives and instantly gives me a headache - it even causes skin irritation when it comes in contact with my skin! So I set out to make a better candle, because magic is so much more powerful when the materials match the intent.
