Collection: The Kitchen Witch's Guide to Mabon

About Mabon

Mabon is the Gaelic term for the autumnal equinox. It is the second harvest festival of the year, with Lughasadh being the first and Samhain being the final. It is also considered Pagan Thanksgiving.

Ritual activities:

Take a ritual bath, meditate on the changing seasons, and what you are grateful for right now. Add in a bath bomb or bath salts for some extra magic. Afterwards, apply some body oil so you smell great all day. Alternatively, take a shower and use a shower steamer.

Light a candle and reflect on the changing seasons. Do some light journaling while reflecting on what you are grateful for this fall. Burn some incense and watch the smoke rise. Take note of any odd movements of the smoke, and write down what you are feeling.

Essential oils used in Jen & Tonic's Mabon blend:

  • cedarwood
  • chamomile
  • copal
  • bay
  • rosemary
  • lemon

What the Jen & Tonic Yule collection smells like:

Like a picnic on a flannel blanket in an apple orchard. This is my cozy fall collection.
