Collection: The Kitchen Witch's Guide to Midsummer
About Midsummer
Midsummer is the celebration of the summer solstice on or around June 20-22. It has been possibly celebrated since the Neolithic era! Celebrations of the summer solstice include gathering at Stonehenge to witness sunrise with the stones in perfect alignment. Midsummer also celebrates the sun at its highest point in the sky all year, so bonfires are also a major way of celebrating.
Ritual activities:
Add a couple drops of morning dew to our foaming cleanser and wash your face.
A ritual bath is always wonderful. Add in a bath bomb for extra magic. Roll on some body oil afterwards to seal in the moisture. Alternately, use a shower melt during your shower for some wonderful summer aromatherapy.
Spritz your pillow with our room spray before going to sleep for more prophetic dreams.
The Midsummer Night Dreams candle is our best-selling candle, so make sure to snag one and light it as you are going about your day (just remember to never leave a burning candle unattended).
What the Jen & Tonic Midsummer collection smells like:
Layers of lemon, with a little herbal backbone. This is our most popular blend.
